The inauguration of the Honeywell – Student Empowerment Program and the establishment of the Centre for Youth Empowerment took place on August 30, 2023, at Kalams Chamber. The event was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in collaboration with ICT Academy, signifying a significant stride towards fostering student growth and empowerment. The primary goal of the event was to equip students with the necessary tools, knowledge, and resources to enrich their skills, broaden their perspectives, and develop into well-rounded individuals capable of excelling in both their academic and professional endeavors.
The welcome address was delivered by S. Aarthi, a third-year CSE student. This was followed by the presidential address by Dr. K. K. Ramasamy, Director of Administration at Paavai Institutions. A. Ragavi, also from the third year of the CSE program, introduced the guest speaker. The keynote address was presented by Mr. V. Lakshmana Narayanan, Production Manager at ICT Academy, Chennai. During his speech, he elaborated on the significance of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and discussed various antenna parameters relevant to design applications. He emphasized the pivotal role of CRM in organizational success.
V.Roshini, a student from the fourth year of the CSE program, introduced the trainer for the event. The keynote address was delivered by Mr. P. Mahesh Kumar, a Technical Trainer at ICT Academy, Chennai. In his speech, he provided insights into the practical application of CRM across diverse organizations.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks presented by P. G. Priyadharshini, a third-year CSE student. The event was successfully organized through the combined efforts of Honeywell, the ICT coordinator, Mr. Siva Ganesh ASP/CSE, and Mr. V. Maheshkumar AP/CSE, along with other individuals who contributed to its execution.
