The Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Paavai Engineering College in association with Department of Biomedical Engineering organized a motivational workshop on “Avenues for the Research proposals in India” on 13th May, 2023 with Dr.A.Arokiarajan, Solid Mechanics Division, Department of Applied Mechanics, Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, as the resource person. This session was coordinated by Professor Dr.K.Sundara Murthy along with Dr.T.Arunkumar, HOD / BME and other faculty members. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College delivered the Presidential Address on the occasion. The guest speaker shared his knowledge on Avenues for the Research proposals in India among the faculty members in detail about the Government organizations, Government grants and schemes for the Research Proposal. He further explained how to get a patent from idea pitching and then convert a prototype. He also clearly explained about the SERB power grant (Especially only for Women) and also about Equity Grant. He also gave examples how to write the paper in right manner and in brief. The session was very informative and interactive. He clarified all the queries raised by the faculties. The program came to an end with the vote of thanks. The Management, Director-Admin, Principal and Staff members provided all the support to make the event a very successful one.
