The Review and Re-View programme is organized for the final year students of the Paavai Educational Institutions. Shri. CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions is the resource person. The programme is scheduled for 11.11.2022, 14.11.2022 & 16.11.2022. All the students of Paavai Engineering College are the beneficiaries from this programme. The programme was started with a prayer song followed by lamp lighting by Madam Correspondent and other dignitaries.
The session continued with an inaugural address from Chairman Sir who pinpointed the importance of goal setting which plays an important role in every one’s life. The students need to be focused and obsessed on their goals and aim right from the first year and it should continue till the final year. By doing so it will help them to handle recession period in any field. He also added that this orientation programme will make the students to review their short term and long term goals and also to re-view them whether they are on track.
Chairman Sir took over the session by giving the statistics of goal setting that helps the students to know about the success rate of a person having a goal which was written and the other side of a person who does not have goal and it was not written. He quoted the words of APJ to the students that, “Aim before 20, Acquire knowledge, Hard work and Perseverance.” These are the important steps to be followed to achieve the goal. He interacted with the students about their past goal and present status of their goal. In what ways they have taken efforts to improve their pathways to achieve their goal.
In his presentation, he reviewed about goal settings, which should be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound. To be successful, he gave success circle in which continuous hard work, endurance, high knowledge will help to achieve the goal.
Chairman sir revealed the ways to identify the student’s individual interest, talents, skills, strengths and personality to achieve their ambition. He gave a clear picture about the various career opportunities after their graduation in government and non-government sectors. Finally he concluded by stating that, “Start where you are, Use what you have, do what you can, Bright Future awaits you.” Madam Correspondent wished the students for getting good results in their upcoming university exams.
In the feedback session, many students registered their feedback with their goal set. Totally 1177 students benefitted from the programme.
