On behalf of Department of Chemistry, Paavai Engineering College organized a one day Student Development Academic webinar on “Route map for unsustainable to sustainable development ” on 12th July, 2021. Ms.C.Yashika, First Year Cyber security Engineering welcomed gathered the webinar. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal , Paavai Engineering College delivered his presidential address on the occasion. He addressed that, awareness about environmental management as well as conservation techniques of water to the Society. Dr.G.Raja, Head of the Department organized a wonderful session and gave the informative talk about the Recent trends in Environmental preservation techniques of water. Prof.M.Mohan, Professor & Head, Science and Humanities, introduced the Chief Guest and gave overview of the importance of sustainable environment in future generation. Dr.J.Karthikeyan, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Chemistry, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, was the guest of the honor. He explained in his presentation about the Sustainability – Process &implementation of sustainable growth. Also explained elaborately the Green house effect and ozone layer depletion. He also detailed about the methods of achieving sustainability in environment for future generation. Faculty members and students eagerly participated in the program. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr.B.Agathiyan first Year / Food Technology. The session was very informative and motivating to all the students.
