The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with IETE (The Institution of Electronics And Telecommunication Engineers)had organized an online Webinar on “A PRIMER TO EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT” on 07thAugust 2021 at 04.00 p.m. in Microsoft Teams. Mr.P.Ramkumar, Managing Director, MAX IKON SOLUTIONS Chennai was the guest speaker and Mr.Sivanesan Rajapupathi, Senior Software Engineer, Hubbell Power Systems, USA was the resource person. The welcome address was given by Ms.S.Keerthana from final year ECE and Ms.Sreetharasene, from third-year ECE, introduced the Chief guest.
In his talk, there source person Mr.Sivanesan Rajapupathi explained about basics of the Embedded system and the different architectures used. He also enlightened the concepts of RTOS (Real-Time Operating System) and its practical applications. In addition, the guest speaker Mr.P.Ramkumar gave an insight of different courses like Java, Python and data computing. He clarified the queries posted by the students at the end of the session. Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms.Srinithi Gayathri, from third-year ECE.As per the feedback received from the students, they said it was a very good learning experience for their real-time projects.
