The Department of EEE in association with Energy Club, Paavai Engineering College has conducted a one day national level webinar on “IMPLICATIONS OF EV ADOPTION AS A GREEN SUSTAINABLE SOLUTION FOR FUTURE MOBILITY” on 02.09.2021 at 11.00 a.m. through microsoft team platform. Dr.M.Premkumar, Principal, presided over the function and insisted the importance of green energy, electric vehicle technology for current scenario to the students.
Dr.K.DEEPA Associate Professor, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, was the guest speaker. In her special address, she explained about the role, needs and importance of electric vehicle technology in this era. In her presentation, she elaborated the basic concepts of greenhouse gases and its effects. She insisted that EV adoption plays a major role in reducing pollution and to improve efficiency when compared with IC engine. She related the basic courses with the formation of EV technology. She described electrical machines, power electronic converters, batteries, control system plays a vital role in designing an EV.
