Our department of Mathematics organized a one day online webinar entitled “Applications of Laplace Transform and Vector Calculus” on 03.07.2021.Mrs.K.Vimhala, Assistant Professor of Mathematics delivered welcome address. Dr.P.Jayakumar, Head of the Mathematics Department briefly explained the application sector of mathematics in connection with engineering field on his felicitation address. Mrs.R.Pradeepa, Assistant Professor of Mathematics and organizer of the present webinar, introduced the speaker and emphasized the broad spectrum usage of Laplace transform in our modern era. The guest speaker Dr.,Vidhyanandhini, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur delivered an excellent session to the students. She illustrate the applications of vector in relation with Force ,Torque, Velocity ,Projectile and usage in military and corsswind. She also described the properties of Laplace Transform and its advanced applications in Data mining. Faculty members and students actively participated in the program and the queries from the students and faculties were effectively replied by the speaker. The webinar is effectively and efficiently fulfilled its objective and highly informative to the participants. At the end Mrs.M.Sathiya, Assistant Professor delivered vote of thanks which successfully concluded the webinar.
