Workshop on Design thinking in Teaching – Learning was organized by Faculty development department and IQAC on 28/06/2022 at Smart Hall. The programme started with the prayer song. Dr.K.Selvi, PCT, Principal welcomed the gathering. Dr.R.Kasthuribai Retired Professor of English was the chief guest. The Chairman honors the chief guest with Memento. Dr.R.Kasthuribai Retired Professor of English addressed the gathering by highlighting the relevance of design thinking in teaching and learning process. She further stressed that design thinking is iterative, investigative, innovative, collaborative, participative and multidisciplinary process. She explained the different stages of design thinking. She elaborated and demonstrated the design thinking process in the topic ‘X-Ray’ .She quoted Anand Mahindra, Ratan TATA inspiration on innovation and creation. She also restated the excerpt from different scientist Einstein, M.S.Dhoni. She concluded that change the design to redesign the future of younger generations. Some of the faculty members registered their feedbacks. Dr.K.Sundaramurthy IQAC Co-ordinator proposed the Vote of Thanks. Totally 45 faculty members benefited from the programme.
